2nd Grade Interim Teacher

Strickland Christian School is seeking a 2nd grade interim teacher for the fall semester.  This is an opportunity for a qualified teacher to join the ministry of one of the best Christian schools in all of Texas! Strickland emphasizes Christian character, phonics, reading, writing, mathematics, and memorization.

Qualifications for applicants are as follows:

• Must meet State of Texas requirements for a classroom teacher.
• Believer in Jesus who knows Him personally and follows Him daily.
• High moral character.
• Called by God to teach.
• Loves children.
• Experience with children.
• Well-organized.
• Good classroom manager.

Substitute Teachers

Strickland School is always looking for good Substitute Teachers as well.

So if you or someone you know is looking for a part-time, on-call position and loves to be with children, we would like you to give us a call. It is important that any Substitute Teacher preferably meet the above requirements and truly have a love for Jesus and want to teach it to all children from PK to 8th grade.

You can work the regular school schedule 7:45am to 3:00pm OR our Extended Care program from 3-6pm. And if you are only available 1/2 days, that will not necessarily prevent you from being a Substitute Teacher.
