Summer Workshop

Calendars

Each month during the school year a calendar of events and the lunch menu calendar will be sent home with your child for your information. You may also view these school calendars online. Be advised that the published school calendar may be subject to minor changes due to school closures for weather or other problems. Such “snow days” may be added to the end of the school year or taken during scheduled holidays.

Parent Orientation

A mandatory parent orientation for all parents of new students will be held in the Spring and Fall at the school. One parent or guardian from each family registered is required to attend one of these sessions in order to obtain pertinent information about Strickland School’s policies and procedures including student and parent requirements, discipline and uniforms.

Open House

There will be an Open House each Fall, just before school begins for Kindergarten through 8th grade parents. This will give the students and parents a chance to visit the classroom, meet the new teacher and possibly form carpools.
